Christmas Eve

This year we celebrated Christmas Eve with just out little family. I was worried we would be lonely but instead it just felt relaxed, cosy, and full of love. The kids were so happy. I wanted to give hugs and kisses over and over. Luckily for the boys I restrained myself.
We started the evening with opening our Christmas PJ's and then their was one surprise gift. "Despicable Me"! As you can see they were soooo excited. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Cadina.
We then did something we would never do with guest. We had Christmas dinner while watching the movie. Hahaha.
After the movie came the talent show. We had all sorts of talents including leg wrestling, arm wrestling, and giving of shots. We also had...
midget football. Where the kids put their legs in their shirts and play. It is actually pretty funny.


Ashton showed us some gymnastic moves including bar stuff (Dad was the bar) and a handstand. Everyone was quite impressed!

Earlier in the week Craig was giving a guitar by a friend of mine. He LOVES it! I downloaded some guitar lessons off the Internet and he has been working hard with them. For his talent this years Craig showed us the cords he has learned.

Nathan sang us a song and decided the guitar would add to it as well. Then Daniel read to us his report card. It was the best he has ever done. Great job Daniel for all of your hard work.
We ended the night with putting out brownies and milk for Santa, and with Mom reading "The Night Before Christmas". The kids were in bed by 9:00 pm and completely asleep by 9:30 pm. We laughed and relaxed since we were ready for Santa to come.
